CONSTRUCTION PROJECT UPDATE: MAY 23, 2023 10AM – PRESS RELEASE
ALL-NEW DEALERSHIP FACILITY CONSTRUCTION IN WENTZVILLE MO
Construction is midway on the $40M Clement automotive development in Western St Charles County. Many are asking when the all-new construction at the “the golden triangle” intersections of I-70 and Interstate 64 will be completed. February 2024 is the completion date for the 30,000 square-foot state of the art Clement Hyundai campus sporting the all-new bronze and glass Hyundai design.
Clement Hyundai which is currently located at 971 Wilmer Road in Wentzville will be relocating upon the opening of the new facilities to the newly constructed premises at 500 Clement Point Dr. Wentzville, MO 63385.
The building has been delayed a few months and the Hyundai store is projected to open towards the end of February 2024. The contractor had a little soil remediation work, due to plastic clay soils in St Charles County. They also had to deal with the historical supply chain shock due to the covid era and steel shortages because Amazon was building warehouses and buying up all the steel in the country.
Clement Hyundai facility will feature over 10,000 square feet of show room space and will be sporting the all-new Bronze Hyundai frontage with new shaped sky elements. The service capacity will triple what is offered at their current location to more effectively serve the needs of preferred customers.
Some outstanding features that will be showcased in the Clement Ford build out will be the longest “Ford Trustmark Brand Wall” in the country, at 270 feet. The unit will also highlight a dedicated “Bronco Showroom and Lounge” and the automotive center will be equipped with 38 service bays to accommodate quick service turn around; no waiting for service appointments for preferred customers. Customer lounges throughout the location will be fitted with all of the creature comforts.
The General Contractor for the project is Musick Construction Company. Musick’s current building and construction projects in the greater, St.Louis area include: Basilica of St Louis (The Old Cathedral renovation); Mercy Cancer Center, Washington MO; BJC Center for OutPatient, St. Louis; Old Warson Country Club, St. Louis; Mercy Jefferson Hospital, Festus; and the St Louis Eye Surgery Center in Des Peres.
The architects on the project are “Premier Design Group” based in Wentzville for Clement Hyundai, who are also involved in the development of Discovery Park. Clement Ford’s Architectural firm is “V3 Studios,” located in St. Louis whose projects included: Washington University’s Online Library, and WCBS News Room in NYC.
