By-Law & Code of Ethics Committee
The By-Law & Code of Ethics Committee is dedicated to ensuring that the Western St. Charles County Chamber of Commerce’s governance documents remain current and effective in serving our membership. This committee is responsible for the periodic review and update of the Chamber’s by-laws and code of ethics to ensure they align with the evolving needs of the organization.
The By-Law & Code of Ethics Committee is responsible for:
- Review and Update: Regularly review the Chamber’s by-laws and code of ethics to identify necessary updates and modifications.
- Compliance Oversight: Ensure that the Chamber’s board and staff adhere to the by-laws and code of ethics.
- Recommendations: Propose changes to the by-laws and code of ethics to the board, which are then submitted to the membership for voting.
- Ethics Maintenance: Periodically review and maintain the code of ethics to reflect best practices and organizational standards.
