SSM Health continues to grow its footprint in St. Charles County to accommodate the County’s surging population. This month, SSM cut the ribbon on a new, state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center on Kisker Road. The facility will perform over 2,000 surgeries annually, freeing hospital beds for patients needing more critical care.
The ribbon cutting follows the December 2022 groundbreaking for a new outpatient center along I-64/HWY 40 in O’Fallon. The two-story, 66,000 SF facility is expected to open in 2024 and will offer imaging, adult and pediatric urgent care, laboratory, and pharmacy services.
In remarks to the St. Louis Business Journal, SSM officials stated that the St. Charles County market “presents a strong opportunity for expansion and growth,” given its status as one of the state’s fastest-growing counties.
